Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to return a sense of self-confidence to women suffering from hair loss due to cancer treatments by utilizing donations to provide wigs, head scarves, eyebrows, etc. to financially disadvantaged women.

I would like to thank everyone for your support. Our yard sale was an overwhelming success. We received items from over a dozen families to sell. It was a beautiful day. We hung out with friends and family. We saw friends we hadn't seen in a while, and we made some new ones. My granddaughter Abbey even set up a lemonade stand. We sold about 40% of what we collected. The rest was donated to various organizations that help others: Living Beyond Breast Cancer, St. Ambrose Church, Christ Church, Open Connections, and Goodwill. We also had some awesome cash donations.

OUR PROGRESS

To date, we have delivered 1,420 gift bags to cancer patients at twenty-four cancer treatment centers. These gift bags have included hats, head scarves, eyebrow tattoos, some personal care items and some treats. Our goal is to develop a relationship with as many cancer infusion centers as possible. This will allow us to bring a little comfort to women who experience hair loss during treatments.
