Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to return a sense of self-confidence to women suffering from hair loss due to cancer treatments by utilizing donations to provide wigs, head scarves, eyebrows, etc. to financially disadvantaged women.

On October 27th, we made our latest gift bag delivery. We delivered 36 gift bags to the cancer center at Bryn Mawr Hospital. All of the items in these gift bags were donated. My granddaughter Abbey made and filled half of the bags for her black belt project. Abbey is also a member of the Fairmount Girl Scouts who donated and filled the other half of the bags. We also had a lot of donated stuff left over that we will use in our next delivery. Thank you to everyone for your love, caring, and sharing.

We have now delivered 1,456 gift bags to 24 cancer centers in Southeast PA and South Jersey.

OUR PROGRESS

To date, we have delivered 1,456 gift bags to patients at twenty-four cancer treatment centers. These gift bags have included hats, head scarves, eyebrow tattoos, some personal care items and some treats. Our goal is to develop a relationship with as many cancer infusion centers as possible. This will allow us to bring a little comfort to women who experience hair loss during treatments.
